Boy, do you have the wrong person
Proving once again that there is no such thing as ‘targeted’ email, I just received unsolicited email apparently from someone called Lisa Benson, who appears to be backing a Congressional candidate in Arizona. The mail begins:
If you are receiving this letter it is because you and I have worked together fighting back against the Islamization of America, or have been defending and protecting Israel as colleagues, friends and donors for many compelling projects. I thank you for your steadfast devotion.
It’s rather sobering to be reminded that there are really people who worry about ‘the Islamization of America’. Because I’m pretty sure that’s not actually a thing.
The one thing that the message lacks seems to be a link that says “I detest you and everything you stand for. Please take me off your mailing list.”
But that’s what spam filters are for.
